Mistella wines are a tradition in Italy, Spain and France.

Winemaking

This wine is made from the fresh grape juice before fermentation, and fortified with grape spirit such as grappa. Wines such as this are also made when the vineyard has been smoke affected and the grapes cannot be used for fermentatioon. 

The wine is often matured in oak before release. Analysis: pH 4, Residual sugar 130 g/L, Alcohol 18%
