Description
The 2021 vintage in Mudgee was good for late-ripening varieties such as Nebbiolo.
Light garnet in colour, the wines characteristically earthy palate is accompanied by aromas of rose petal and dried herbs.
Matured for eighteen months in middle-aged oak, the palate is typically Nebbiolo-dryish tannins supporting a food-friendly palate.
On bottling in mid-2023, this wine could be enjoyed with risotto or porcini funghi.
As the wine ages, we think that hints of caramel, then cigar box and finally toffee will present themselves on the palate.
A wine made to be enjoyed now or over the next fifteen years.
Produced and bottled be di Lusso Estate, Mudgee NSW 2850.
